Local foods are sold in an immediate environment, that is, a few kilometers from the area in which they have been produced. Today we will see what good reasons there are to buy local products.

Since I was little I have been passionate about cooking, I liked learning how the dishes that everyone talks about were prepared and cooked. So much so that it didn’t take me long to want to dedicate myself to it. At first I chose to work in a franchise but I have always had the need to give a personal touch to the dishes that were made, so it did not take me too long to make the leap to restoration. At the Bahía I have seen the opportunity to bring my own touch to the most traditional Torrevieja style of cuisine and Mediterranean cuisine

We celebrated our wedding at Bahia Restaurant last summer. We enjoyed great service, a charming atmosphere, and a carefully crafted exquisite menu. Everything was easy when organizing the event, complying with all the security measures in force on those dates. The equipment and service is the best and the food, too; special mention to rice and seafood. Fully recommended for this type of event or simple meetings with family / friends or a dinner for two. We will be back whenever we can!
I went to dinner with my wife and daughter and it was a great experience. It is a fabulous place in all aspects, starting with the quality of the product they offer, the cleanliness and safety in times of Covid, and highlighting the impeccable and close service, both from the waiters and the owners, which is ten. We asked for suggestions and started with an Iberian salad, which has a very good mix of flavors. The braised octopus is a spectacle and you can already tell by the smell and texture when it is chopped up at the table, and to continue, some very rich and crunchy Andalusian squid. To finish off, they showed us the infiltrations and color of a 1.3kg matured piece of cow, from which they knew how to get the exact point. A ribeye with very little waste of bone, tendons and fat. For dessert, a different cheese cake, very good and smooth. We were wanting to try other sweets, but we couldn’t take it anymore. We will return without a doubt every time we go for a walk around Torrevieja.
It can not be better. Victor and his team even in this pandemic time, offer their best service. Impeccable and wanting to return …. On this occasion I recommend their new squid dish with truffled egg and the cod casserole, quite a show !!! Congratulations Victor.
